Mount Maunganui Lifeguard Service

Tauranga Peugeot currently sponsors the Mount Maunganui Lifeguard Service (and has done so for four years now) and we’re delighted with their recent success at the 2018 Eastern Regional Championships.

Bring on the Nationals in Gisborne in March!

Last weekend saw Mount Manganui beach awash with 850 competitors from 25 clubs, racing for points in scorching 27-degree weather. The last big hit out before the Nationals, our team made the most of their home advantage and took 15 wins across the various events. Success in the Taplin, beach relay, board relay, board rescue and ski relay meant the club ended clear winners by over 70 points. This surely bodes well for March – after a five-year run as National Champions, the club is now focused on making it six in a row
